i jumped quickly into adding some colour as i couldn't resist, initially i liked the redy orange colours so i started to see how these could work with what i had done and felt that the orange colour and black work quite nicely together. the different coloured type allows the letters to sit next to each other whilst being able to define the jigsaw piece connection of the the two letter forms. i saw that parts of the letter forms such as the strokes of the K where screaming out to work and image into the letter form so i tested to see how the roiling pin would fit in the letter form, i think that i make the logo more interesting and creates a unique letter form that won't be used any where else. along with this i like how i have also produced a potential logo by just using the simplistic rounded type (which i think works well with the audience and location that this logo will be applied to) and the explosion of imagery - puzzle pieces and kitchen utensils, make the logo seem a little bit more light hearted and fun rather than a strict typogrphic approach.
