final ideas for the dodger

creating a jammy dodger!

composition

looking at how this simple type style I've been working on can work within the given A format. - there needs to be more development of how the type will sit as there needs to be a variety of options however the designs are begging to work well - need to consider tho the centralised or left/right aligned text.

the centered text works as the image is centred so keeps the Constancy but how would the type look left or right aligned.? test!

working on consistancy

this is just to update where I'm at right now i have six potential designs, but i need to keep a consistency across the designs, so there are a few things i need to look at, for example the shading and style of the pieces need to stay consistent across the prints. so i need to develop an appropriate method and use this through out, i don't think the style so far is working so could do with looking at some vector illustrations from other designers and see how they use shading and their style.

also i need to include the type within the design and this needs to be consistent. currently I'm developing a sans serif fonts along side the serif font, should try some other fonts out tho to see how they would work, need to get this right as they are prints and need to look good.

developments for cake break/afternoon cakes

I'm developing the cake vector and trying to see how the shapes of the cake would fit within the A format shape, i really like the bottom right image as i think it takes a element of the cake and allows a bit more thought from the person looking at the design, still think across the board my vector illustrations need a more aesthetic look or style to make them more attractive and good looking basically, there are a lot of potential colour ways that can be applied to the cake print but  i think it needs to consider how it will sit with the other prints, therefor i better get working on them.!

making a cup cake

some snap shots of the cup cake design i'm working on, working with the tops of cakes and how differnt each one could be, also shapping the icing of the cake to look a bit more realistic/ resemble icing.
i think at the moment the shapes need improving as the icing is not shaped very well to many big lumps needs to be smooth with small indentions.
